The Driving While Impaired programs are provided to all persons suspended for or convicted of impaired driving offences. Participation is required by provincial law and there is a fee.
 
Fees for Driving While Impaired convictions in Nova Scotia must be paid to the Registry of Motor Vehicles (Access Nova Scotia).  Fees for Driving While Impaired convictions outside of Nova Scotia are paid directly to Addiction Services.

The Program involves the following:

• Individual Assessment
• Group Education
• Follow Up Counselling
