Adolescent Addiction Prevention Services
The CBDHA Addictions Adolescent team offers health promotion and addiction prevention for teens. Individual early intervention counseling is available through Adolescent Outreach Workers. As well the adolescent team offers three youth group programs that are offered on a regular basis throughout the year. As well our team can work with your school or community to provide programming for youth at risk.
Any youth 13 – 18 years of age is eligible to connect with an adolescent outreach worker. They are present in schools and in community. Youth from anywhere in the district can contact a worker directly through our youth friendly toll free number 1-855-766-6606.
Parents, friends, professionals and others can contact our general office number and talk with an adolescent team member 563-8646. We are open to all questions. The team welcomes the opportunity to work with family, schools, health professionals and community organizations to create a supportive environment where youth can come forward and learn about the risks and harms of substance use.
