Addiction Day Program
Addiction Services has added a new Addiction Day Program to the treatment continuum. This program is for adults harmfully involved with alcohol, drugs, and or gambling. A safe and supportive treatment environment is provided through relaxed, non-judgemental, individual and group programs - Withdrawal Management Day Program and Structured Treatment Program. After completion of the Addiction Day Program, clients may be referred to Community Based Services in their own community for follow-up.
Withdrawal Management Day Program
Because of life commitments, many individuals are unable to be away from home or work for extended periods or overnight. This program is suited to clients in mild to moderate withdrawal and who do not require inpatient withdrawal management to treat their symptoms. Individualized program plans are developed that consider client's individual circumstances.
It is also a program for clients continuing a methadone stabilization protocol initiated on the inpatient unit in preparation for admission to the Opiate Recovery Program. Clients who have had a recent relapse may be referred to the program as well as those seeking help to prevent relapse.
